The Shadow Master might have given the development team a nudge — enough to make him overpowered. Sirius is ready to shake up Brawl Stars!
Brawl Stars' roster has reached a milestone with the addition of this brawler. Sirius is the 100th character in Brawl Stars! For such an occasion, the developers cooked something absolutely special.
Sirius is the first-ever supervillain in the game. His moveset is effective but somewhat complicated.
Unlock Sirius in Brawl Stars for free: Special event and Credits
Sirius fully joins Brawl Stars on March 5. Before the release date, the game has a unique unlock event. It’s tough, and not everyone has a chance — but even attempts feature nice rewards.
- To unlock Sirius for free, play Brawl Stars and win matches with all the other 99 characters. Any mode will do. Obviously, you need the entire roster in your possession.
- The additional rewards are Sirius boxes. They are also available through a special quest involving ranked-like matches, with a box for two wins. It is possible to win up to 20 boxes during this quest.
After March 5, Sirius is available on Starr Road. He is an Ultra Legendary brawler. Therefore, the price is 5,500 Credits — similar to the first character of such rarity, Kaze.
How to play Sirius in Brawl Stars
The character class for Sirius is stated as Controller, but that doesn’t fully reflect the danger the shadow master brings to Brawl Stars.
- Basic attack, Binary Starr — Sirius shoots two projectiles with different features. One is for area damage, and the other targets one opponent. Every four hits let Sirius collect a brawler shadow, a copy of his opponent. You can have three shadows at a time.
- Super, Shadow Summon — You send shadows to the battlefield, and they start attacking your opponents. Use the Super with active shadows to command them what to do, like the areas to go to.
- Hypercharge: Unlimited Power — The shadows have more health and deal higher damage.
To play Sirius effectively, try to accumulate all three shadows quickly to then overwhelm your opponents with a massive attack. Sirius thrives in all the Brawl Stars game modes, as the number advantage is very significant in this game.
At the same time, it’s not easy to play Sirius. He is not as straightforward as many other brawlers, such as Frank, for example. The effectiveness of shadows becomes real when you control them, not just let them wander randomly — and this may be a lot to take into account during the dynamic Brawl Stars matches.
The best build for Sirius in Brawl Stars
One specific combination of Star Power and Gadget makes Sirius a monster-brawler.
- Star Power 2, The Darkest Starr — It gives you two shadows after the standard four hits.
- Gadget 2, Master of Shadows — Use this gadget to make the shadows come back to Sirius and recover some health.
This build allows Sirius to create shadows sooner and to make them battle longer in a Brawl Stars match. It’s the best choice for the brawler!
The other options are Star Power 1, Dusk Runners, which increases the shadows’ movement speed, and Gadget 1. A Starr is Born, which shoots a projectile and creates a shadow on hit.
Sirius has a good potential to hit the Brawl Stars esports scene, as Kaze did with the versatility of her two forms.
Time is needed for professionals to weave the brawler into their strategies. Perhaps Brawl Cup 2026 will be the first opportunity to witness Sirius at a big event. That tournament goes from May 15 to May 17.
