Alpha7 Esports dominate over 55 other teams in the recent official PUBG MOBILE Esports power rankings.

PUBG MOBILE Esports has recently updated its power rankings list, taking the results of the recent 2024 PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) into consideration. To no one's surprise, Alpha7 Esports successfully maintained their top position on the leaderboard after their victory in the 2024 PMWC.

What is the PUBG MOBILE Esports power ranking?

PUBG MOBILE Esports has a ranking system that it introduced last June. Rankings are determined by points secured in the three most recent major PUBG MOBILE tournaments, reflecting wins, placements, and standout performances.

The previous rankings in June were based on teams' performance from the last three major events: the main tournament of the 2023 PUBG MOBILE World Invitational (PMWI) in Riyadh, the group stage and grand finals of the 2023 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) in Turkiye, and the main event of the 2024 PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO) in Brazil.

After the PMWC 2024 event, the most recent list is updated while considering results from three major events: the group stage and grand finals of the 2023 PMGC in Turkiye, the main event of the 2024 PMGO in Brazil, and the main tournament of the 2024 PMWC in Riyadh.

The leaderboard is expected to be updated again in mid-December after the conclusion of the next major tournament, the 2024 PMGC in London.

Alpha7 Esports dominate the leaderboard

Alpha7 Esports players continue to show their domination on the PUBG MOBILE Esports scene by maintaining the top position they've achieved since June. Moreover, their recent victory in the 2024 PMWC furthers the margin between the Brazilian powerhouse and the other 55 global teams.

The team currently sits with 939.29 points, increasing from 797.87 points in June, while their closest contenders IHC Esports and REJECT have only collected 760.50 points and 614.05 points, respectively. You can check the full rankings on PUBG MOBILE Esports' official website.

Alpha7 Esports are regarded as one of the biggest names in the PUBG MOBILE esports scene. They are supported by a loyal fanbase with over 237,000 followers on Instagram and 38,000 subscribers on YouTube. They began their journey in March 2020, although now with an entirely different roster.

SEA took over China in the top 10

Once the strongest region in the PUBG MOBILE esports scene, for the first time, there are no Chinese teams spotted in the top 10 leaderboard rankings. Six Two Eight, who were in fifth place, were taken over by Vietnamese team Dingoz Xavier. Meanwhile, Weibo Gaming's tenth position is now owned by the Malaysian team, Alliance.

The region has been struggling to compete with other regions and has remained crownless since the 2021 PMGC won by Nova Esports. The team has also been struggling to perform well despite the roster changes over the last few years.

The 2024 PUBG MOBILE Super League (PMSL) for the fall season is currently running for all regions in the world to determine which teams to qualify for the 2024 PMGC, with those on top of the leaderboard regarded as the best champion candidates. On the other hand, those who fail to qualify for the 2024 PMGC won't be able to improve their rankings until the next major tournament starts in 2025.
