Time to collect Dragon Balls across the map!

PUBG Mobile is well-known for huge collaborations and its latest one, with Dragon Ball Super, is no exception! The game recently released its Update 2.7, and with it, a lot of new content has arrived in the game.

Here’s everything you need to know about the PUBG Mobile x Dragon Ball collaboration:

PUBG Mobile reveals huge collaboration with Dragon Ball Super

PUBG Mobile had been teasing a collaboration with Dragon Ball Super for a while now. Finally, it has landed in the game. A new game mode, map, and more have been added as a part of the collaboration.

For Dragon Ball, though, this isn’t the first time the legendary anime franchise has tied up with a battle royale title. In the past, it has also partnered with Fortnite for unique in-game activations.

The main highlight of the new collaboration is the Dragon Ball Super-themed game mode called Shenron Gameplay. Sanhok, Erangel, and Livik will support the mode. As a part of it, players have to collect Dragon Balls across the map.

If they manage to collect all seven, they will have the ability to summon Shenron and get other buffs.

Additionally, at the beginning of each, players will be able to hone the character of Ki who has enhanced mobility. The game has special firearms and other items as well. These are as follows:

  • Buku-jutsu: This can be picked up and used to fly across the map. You won’t be able to use your firearms, though, but can activate Kamehameha.
  • Kamehameha: This item can be charged up to fire a beam which deals damage in a direction.
  • Senzu Bean: This item can be consumed to fully regain your health and energy.
  • Dragon Radar: It can be used to scan the surrounding areas for Dragon Balls.
  • Air Car: The air car can be picked up as a capsule and deployed. It's a hovercraft which can carry three people.

New map is also coming to the game

That’s not all, though. As a part of the Dragon Ball Super x PUBG Mobile collab, a new map is also landing in the game. The 1.6 x 1.6 km map is themed around anime and will be available to play from July 15 onwards.

Additionally, players will be able to select different characters on this map. This includes Son Goku, Vegeta, Ultimate Gohan, Piccolo, and Frieza.
