PUBG MOBILE World Cup (PMWC) 2024 has revealed 27 teams that will be participating in the prestigious tournament, with one special invited team to be announced really soon.
The tournament will take place from July 19 to July 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a total prize pool of $3,000,000 USD.

The event will span eight days:
- Group Stage: July 19 to July 21, 2024
- Points Rush: July 23 to July 24, 2024

The format for the tournament is as follows:
- Group Stage
The total of 24 teams will be divided into groups with each team to play a total of 12 matches. The top 12 teams will advance to the Main Stage while the bottom 12 teams advance to Survival Stage, meaning that no team will be eliminated during this stage. The number of matches played during this stage has yet to be announced.
- Survival Stage
The four qualified teams will be followed by bottom 12 teams from the Group Stage and play a total of 12 matches. The top 4 teams will advance to the Main Stage while the bottom 12 teams will be eliminated. The number of matches played during this stage has yet to be announced.
- Main Stage
The top 12 teams from Group Stage and top 4 teams from Survival Stage will play a total of 18 matches. The team with the most accumulated points (kill + placement + head start) will be crowned the champion.
PMWC 2024 prize pool
The tournament boasts a prize pool of $3,000,000 USD, the third biggest in EWC 2024 after Dota2 and MLBB.
The Champion will also grant their region an extra qualifying spot at the prestigious 2024 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) that will be held in the U.K. at the end of the year.
Additionally, similar to Free Fire EWC 2024, the top 8 teams will earn Club Points ranging from 20 to 1,000.
At the conclusion of EWC 2024, an additional $20,000,000 USD prize pool will be distributed among the top 16 organizations with the most points in the Club Championship.
To win the Club Championship, a team must also secure victory in at least one of the 20 tournaments.
