It’s time to crown a PUBG Mobile world champion.

The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022 is almost here. From Nov. 10 to Jan. 8, as many as 50 teams from around the world will compete in the most prestigious PUBG Mobile Esports tournament for a share of the $4 million prize pool and the title of world champions.

The PMGC was first launched in 2020 as the world championship for PUBG Mobile. However, in its 2020 and 2021 editions, no LAN event was played due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This set to change this year, though, as Tencent has confirmed that the event will happen as an offline one.

The league stage will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia while the grand finals will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia. While the grand finals will likely feature a live audience, it's unclear if the league stage will.
