ONIC Philippines won the SPS Mobile Challenge Finals MLBB, claiming the lion’s share of the $150,000 prize pool and a spot in SPS Mobile Masters 2025.
After a weekend of esports action, ONIC Philippines players became the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) champions of the Snapdragon Pro Series (SPS) Mobile Challenge Finals! In front of a live audience, ONIC Philippines won $65,000 USD and earned a spot in the SPS Mobile Masters 2025 tournament. The three-day Challenge Finals Playoffs, delivered by ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., had a sold-out crowd and over 1.12 million peak online viewers.

It was an all-ONIC showdown in the SPS Mobile Challenge Finals MLBB tournament, where ONIC Philippines performed a dominant 4-0 sweep over ONIC Esports to claim the Grand Final. The team's victory not only earned them $65,000, but also the SPS trophy plus a spot in April's SPS Mobile Masters MLBB 2025 event.
"It feels good to come out on top in the all-ONIC Grand Final," ONIC Philippines' country manager, Rafael Sanchez, said. He spoke on behalf of players Jann “Kirk” Gutierrez, King “K1ngkong” Perez, Frince “Super Frince” Ramirez, Grant “Kelra” Pillas, and Borris “Brusko” Parro.

"It's what the fans wanted to see, and we’re happy to be able to put on a show for them," he continued. "We look forward to more wins as a team and want to thank the fans for their warm reception and support throughout the tournament."
Som Nuchapa Trivijitsilp, the senior product manager at EFG, shared some thoughts about the event as well. Trivijitsilp said it was exciting to bring the tournament back to Malaysia. Then, she praised the passionate fans for adding to the tournament's atmosphere.

This victory capped off an impressive run by ONIC Philippines since the team also recently won the M6 World Championship and Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 14.
In April, ONIC Philippines will battle in the SPS Mobile Masters 2025 MLBB tournament. This event will take place in Senayan, Jakarta and have a $200,000 prize pool.
