MOONTON’s slew of new content into MLBB has made the developer change the interface several times to accommodate the new features. In a statement, even the developer admitted that the number of times they had to change the interface surprised them.
The game has received changes seven times since its release. The most recent change came in December 2021 and now MOONTON is confirmed that it’s revamping it again.
Why is MOONTON changing the main interface?
MOONTON gave three main reasons for changing the main interface in MLBB.
The first was to simplify the main interface of the game. This has been a common reason for changing the interface of the game over the years. As new features join the game, the main menu has looked very cluttered. It even throws off new players joining the game and is confusing to navigate.
MOONTON said that the second reason for revamping the interface in MLBB was the heroes. The developer wants to throw a better spotlight on new heroes when they join the game.
Lastly, is to improve the performance of the game. The current interface is not only a bit cluttered but some users complain of lags in the menu. MOONTON wants to fix this with the new update.

MOONTON has said that it has been developing this interface for over a year now. The company added that it has done several rounds of community feedback and has promised improved performance in the new interface.
The release date for MLBB’s refreshed interface hasn’t been revealed yet, though. MOONTON should be providing more updates over the next few weeks.
