If you're an avid player of Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games like Dota 2, League of Legends, or Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, you'll likely enjoy Tencent Games' Honor of Kings (commonly abbreviated as HoK), which has finally announced its release date. 

You may not have heard of this game before, but HoK (or also known as King of Glory in China) is a highly popular 5v5 MOBA mobile game developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by Tencent Games, now globally recognized as Level Infinite.

HoK's gameplay is similar to other 5v5 MOBA games like Dota 2, League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and others, where two teams of five players compete to destroy each other's base while utilizing strategies, skills, and teamwork to secure resources, objectives, eliminate the enemy team, and ultimately claim victory.

The game is the second most downloaded MOBA game worldwide in 2023, following Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, with almost 1.85 million global downloads, according to Statista. 

Additionally, AppMagic reports that the game generated $1.58 billion in revenue in 2023, making it the most successful game for smartphones and tablets.

First released in China in November 2015, HoK will finally be set to launch globally on June 20th, 2024. Players from North America, Europe, Japan, and other regions can join those in countries where the game is already available.

While newer devices will perform best, HoK requires at minimum an iPhone 6 or iPad 6 running iOS 11 and above or an Android device with 1.0 GHz CPU and 1 GB RAM Android 5.1 and above. 

We recommend an iPhone X or iPad 7 running iOS 12 and above or an Android device with 1.6 GHz CPU and 2 GB RAM running Android 12 and above.

For those who can’t wait for the game’s launch in their country, it’s possible to start playing now by joining players from regions where the game is already live, including Brazil, Turkey, CIS, South Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Android users may currently only find "Pre-Register" on the Google Play Store but can download the game’s APK through the official website.

Language won't be a barrier as the latest game version offers multiple language options, including English, Traditional/Simplified Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish, Bengali, and Arabic. 

Additionally, the game includes in-game chat translation to facilitate communication between players from different countries. 

While communicating in different languages might still be challenging, players are provided with tools to find fellow players from the same country.

iOS users can now pre-register on the App Store. However, there's still no official way to download the iOS version prior to its release date on June 20th global.
