Cenarius enters Warcraft Rumble: Ability, traits, talents, and more

Warcraft Rumble has officially announced five new additions to the Cenarion family! Enter Cenarius, Onu, Ancient of War, Moonkin, and Bog Beast! These new Cenarion minis can be earned during Season 7's Cenarion Summer Festival event. Read on to get a better idea of what Cenarius can do in Warcraft Rumble! Cenarius is a leader unit that costs 5 gold to deploy, has 600 health, heals 25 health every 1.5 seconds, and roots for 3 seconds. Meanwhile, his ability is Grove Keeper. This makes Cenarion minis gain 20% empty health. As for his attack, it's Wrath, which is a ranged attack that targets a single unit.

This unit's traits include Brambles, Tranquility, Elemental, Resistant, Healer. Brambles and Tranquility, in particular, are new.

Cenarius's talents are Force of Nature, Revitalize, and Wild Growth. Force of Nature, for example, summons a Treant when a rooted enemy gets taken out. These Treant units have 200 health each and deal 50 physical damage every couple of seconds.

In a developer update, senior game designer Brendan Farrell talked about Cenarius' lore and provided some tips on how players can get the most out of the unit.

"He's a demigod and the first Cenarion leader most of you will unlock. He's got an AoE heal for allies and an AoE root for enemies," Farrell said. "He's all about board control, sustain, and buying time to build pushes."

In terms of how to unlock this leader unit, players can do so during the aforementioned Cenarion Summer Festival event starting July 28, 2024. This is now known as "Cenarion family week."

"Cenarion family week will now start for the first time on July 28 instead of July 14. Cenarius and Onu will be available in the G.R.I.D during this week," Blizzard stated.
