AP Bren now has two world championship titles following their victory at the 2023 Mobile Legends World Champions (M5).
The 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championship, M5, just concluded yesterday - crowning the Filipino juggernaut, AP Bren, as the champions. This marks AP Bren's second world championship title, with the first win being at the M2 in 2020.

AP Bren wins M5 after a tight victory against ONIC Esports
The M5 World Championship saw a grueling sixteen days of battle for AP Bren. The Filipino powerhouse had a consistent run throughout the tournament, until they met ONIC Esports in the Upper Bracket Finals. This saw a painful 0-3 loss which knocked them down to the Lower Bracket. But AP Bren would soon find their momentum back again.
The team faced their Filipino counterpart, Blacklist International, in the Lower Bracket and secured a 3-0 victory. This dominant series likely fired up AP Bren and they came into the finals with fiery vengeance.
The crowd was wild as they witnessed an intense Philippines vs Indonesia show. Both AP Bren and ONIC Esports are heavy favorites of the tournament. AP Bren is the recent Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Philippines champions. ONIC Esports, on the other hand, are the current champions of MPL Indonesia.
Following a lengthy seven-match Finals, AP Bren finished the M5 World Championship with a 4:3 victory. The tightly-contested series saw them bring victory in front of the Filipino home crowd. The pinnacle of this tournament even saw more than 5 million Peak Viewers on live broadcasts - the highest of all time for this disciple.
