A familiar scenario for SRG.OG but different outcome

This year's grand finals had a feeling of déjà vu. In 2024, SRG OG was up against a powerhouse Filipino team, Falcons AP.Bren. This time, however, it was TLPH that stood against them. The Malaysian squad entered the match with the pressure of a legacy to uphold and opened strong in Game 1 with a commanding performance. But what ensued was a masterclass in resilience and adjustment from the Filipino team.
Team Liquid PH fought back in Game 2 by countering SRG's opening choke point compositions with surgical team fights and improved rotations. They fought their way back into the series, breaching SRG's defenses in a last-ditch push. Game 3 was more of the same: SRG opened strong in the early game, but TLPH built up slowly. One misplay from SRG saw a cataclysmic wipeout given to TLPH, which saw them win again.
Game 4 was a statement. TLPH dished out SRG's own medicine with a one-sided onslaught that left the defending champions stunned and struggling to recover. Then came Game 5, an explosive finale. TLPH took the driver’s seat in the opening minute and never looked back. With a 13-2 kill lead and 11k gold advantage before the 8-minute mark, they shut down every attempt from SRG to bounce back. In one final coordinated push, they stormed through the base to secure the championship.
With this win, TLPH takes home the $1 million prize money and 1,000 Club Championship points for their organization, which is now at the top of the leaderboard. Additionally, the team's EXP Laner Sanford "Sanford" Vinuya, earned the Finals MVP of MSC 2025.
“I owe it to my teammates, and thanks to them, I’ve grown into a strong fighter. Thank you so much, everyone!” said Sanford after receiving the award.

Team Liquid PH enters legendary status

This MSC 2025 win means a lot for Team Liquid PH and its members. This win not only crowns TLPH as the new kings, but also completes their historic trophy cabinet, having already won a trophy for MPL Philippines and the M-World Championship. With this MSC win, they now stand as one of the most decorated squads in MLBB history.
Additionally, this victory further solidifies the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) status of veteran jungler Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno. His legendary journey began with Bren Esports, where he claimed the M2 World Championship as a young prodigy. He later returned to glory under ECHO Philippines, dominating the M4 World Championship. Despite the accolades and the growing chorus of fans calling him the GOAT, KarlTzy remained grounded and humble, never fully embracing the title. But now, with the MSC 2025 trophy added to his storied collection, he has finally accepted that he is the face of MLBB esports.
While this win calls for a celebration, their journey is far from over. Once they return to the Philippines, TLPH will have to make preparations for the MPL PH Season 16 this Aug. 22, 2025. This tournament shall decide who gets to represent the region for the upcoming M7 World Championship.
