Here’s a look at the new assassin hero Hirara in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, including her skills and how they work in-game, based on advanced server data.
Hirara is a new assassin hero in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) advanced server. Based on her skillset, she is going to be one of the most complex heroes in the game. Her entire kit revolves around combining skills to achieve a different effect. That said, you will need to be familiar with her combo if you want to use her properly.
To help you get familiar with Hirara, here’s an overview of her abilities in MLBB, based on advanced server information, and how she possibly works in the game.
Note: We won’t be including specific numbers in this article since the hero is undergoing constant changes. Final stats will only be confirmed once the hero is released on the main server. For now, she is only playable in the advanced server along with the Aulus revamp.
How does Hirara work in MLBB?
Hirara in MLBB has the usual one passive, two skills, and one ultimate in her kit. However, you can mix her skills together to get different effects. The effect will vary depending on the order in which you combine them.
Skill 1: Kaerazu

Her Skill 1: Kaerazu has a simple base effect. Casting it will unleash a fan-shaped flame attack, dealing damage to enemies hit.
However, dragging the skill to her Skill 2: Meisen-e will transform it into Infernal Torrent. This combo skill allows Hirara to dash and deal damage to enemies hit. After a short delay, she will spin and deal twice the initial damage in a circle. It’s a good burst damage combo with a bit of mobility.
Skill 2: Meisen-e

This skill is her main mobility tool for chasing or escaping. Casting Skill 2: Meisen-e will let Hirara dash to the joystick’s direction twice.
You can transform it into the Falling Maple combo skill by dragging this skill to Skill 1: Kaerazu. Upon activation, Hirara briefly becomes untargetable before unleashing an AoE sweep attack. After, she dashes twice in the direction of the joystick, dealing damage to enemies in her path.
The untargetable effect can be useful in situations where you want to avoid being locked in by enemies. However, this also immobilizes Hirara, making her a sitting duck for a brief second. Also, this can easily be bypassed by heroes with AoE or skillshots.
You would usually want an assassin that can keep moving so this skill may be a problem if you use it at the wrong time. Nonetheless, the multiple dash effects are very useful for sticking close to enemies or escaping ambushes.
Ultimate: Forbidden Jutsu: Momijigari

Her Ultimate: Forbidden Jutsu: Momijigari is pretty straightforward. She gains a burst of decaying movement speed upon casting. Her Crimson/Death Energy expands from 4 to 6, allowing more skill casting before it needs to be recharged. Lastly, each kill or assist while the effect is active will extend the duration of this Ultimate.
While the Ultimate is active, she can pull off at least three combo skills before needing to recover her energy.
Passive: Twin Fans: Ukifune
Here is a quick rundown of the effects of her Passive: Twin Fans: Ukifune:
- Hirara initially has 4 stacks of Crimson/Death energy.
- Casting base Skill 1 and Skill 2 will cost 1 Crimson/Death energy.
- Casting a combo skill costs 2 Crimson/Death energy.
- Energy only recovers while not casting any skills for a brief period. Casting skills will interrupt the recovery.
- Skill 1 and Skill 2 will apply Crimson and Death marks, respectively, to non-minion enemies. Targets marked with both debuffs will be immobilized briefly. This also applies to her combo skills.
- Hirara’s skills are not affected by Cooldown Reduction. Instead, any Cooldown Reduction acquired reduces her energy recovery time.
Why is Hirara a confusing hero to play at first?

Unlike other heroes in MLBB, Hirara has a unique mechanic. Her new kit introduces fresh gameplay possibilities, but it also comes with a few noticeable problems. Of course, the more you play her, the less these problems affect your performance.
What I’m talking about is how her abilities switch from joystick to D-pad targeting. To activate her combo skills, you need to drag her skills. Skill 1: Kaerazu uses the D-Pad (left buttons) to adjust the angle of the skillshot. Dragging it to Skill 2: Meisen-e will switch the targeting to the joystick (right button). If you are not aware of it, this can easily throw you off.
In intense situations, you might drag the icon too far and miss the mark. This means you’ll instead cast the base skills instead of a combo skill. You can remedy this by setting a custom skill layout and making the icons larger.
If you play with sounds, there is an audio cue when you’re about to cast a combo skill. The combo skills are also color-coded. Infernal Torrent is red while Falling Maple is purple. Use this information to your advantage to avoid confusion.
When will Hirara release in MLBB?

The release date of Hirara in MLBB has yet to be announced. However, we can speculate based on previous hero releases. New heroes are usually released at the start of a new ranked season, and each competitive season lasts around three months.
With that in mind, we can expect Hirara to arrive in MLBB sometime on June 16, 2026. Keep in mind that this date is not yet confirmed by MOONTON Games. Take it with a grain of salt.
That sums up our overview of the new assassin hero, Hirara, in MLBB, based on advanced server information. If you want to be ahead of the competition, check out our updated tier list to decide your next meta picks for every patch update.
