MLBB esports reigned supreme throughout 2025.
Mobile esports had no shortage of tournaments in 2025, however, what stood out was Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) dominating the most-watched events of the year. Other mobile esports, such as PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile and Arena of Valor (AoV), ranked in the top 10, but drew far fewer hours than MLBB’s leading events.
MLBB dominates mobile esports in 2025
According to Esports Charts, MLBB Professional League (MPL) Indonesia Season 15 topped viewership hours with 113.2 million hours watched in 2025. This was followed by MPL Indonesia Season 16 with 101.2 million, MLBB Mid Season Cup 2025 with 50.3 million, and MPL Philippines Season 15 with 31.1 million hours watched.

Only Arena of Glory Spring 2025, an AoV tournament, made it to the top five with 28.8 million hours watched. Arena of Glory Winter 2025 also ranked among the most-watched events. The AoV Premier League 2025 event led the series in average viewership. As for Arena of Glory Winter 2025 and AoV International Championship (AIC) 2025, they finished as the most-watched AIC events.
PUBG Mobile, meanwhile, achieved a spot in the top 10 list as well thanks to PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025. According to Esports Charts, this particular tournament became one of game's most-watched tournaments of all time.

MLBB esports also reigned supreme in terms of peak viewers, achieving the top three spots in 2025. MPL Indonesia Season 15 then led with 4.13 million peak viewers, followed by MPL Indonesia Season 16 with 3.11 million and MLBB Mid Season Cup 2025 with 3.06 million.
