Alter Ego vs Aurora PH: M7 Grand Finals Recap
Game 1

Alter Ego opened Game 1 with an aggressive approach, repeatedly invading Aurora Gaming PH’s jungle to disrupt their early tempo. Despite the pressure, Aurora stayed composed, rotating efficiently to keep their lanes stable.
By the 10-minute mark, Aurora seized control through dominant team fights fueled by layered crowd control. They secured the Lord and exposed Alter Ego’s mid-lane turret, stripping them of map pressure. Four minutes later, Aurora capitalized once more with a decisive push, dismantling Alter Ego with surgical precision to secure the opening game.
Game 2

Both teams played cautiously in the early stages of Game 2, testing each other’s limits without fully committing to extended fights. The stalemate broke at the 4-minute mark when Aurora secured several kills alongside the second Turtle.
From there, Aurora snowballed hard—invading jungle camps, applying relentless lane pressure, and starving Alter Ego of resources. Edward “Edward” Dapadap led the charge on Sora, posting an impressive 6/2/6 KDA by the 11-minute mark. Alter Ego struggled to respond, and after an all-out push, Aurora closed the second game to move to match point.
Game 3

Facing elimination, Alter Ego reverted to their comfort picks in Game 3, hoping to swing the momentum back in their favor. Those plans quickly unraveled when Muhammad “Yazukee” Wahyudi was picked off before securing the first Turtle, handing Aurora a massive early advantage.
Jonard “Demonkite” Caranto capitalized immediately, collecting three kills on Fredrinn by the 3-minute mark. The game spiraled out of control as Aurora dominated the map, building a 4k gold lead just six minutes in. As the match progressed, Jan “Domeng” Delmundo hit his power spike on Granger, further amplifying Aurora’s dominance. With an overwhelming lead, Aurora marched down mid lane with the Lord and ended the game in under 10 minutes.
Game 4

Drafting in Game 4 revolved around vision and map control. Alter Ego placed their hopes on Yi Sun-Shin for Yazukee, while Aurora answered with Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo on Zetian to match and deny that advantage.
Desperation set in for Alter Ego, who began forcing fights even at the cost of their own members. Aurora punished every misstep. At the 7-minute mark, the PH squad secured a Turtle and followed it up with a devastating four-man pickoff. From there, the formula stayed the same, Aurora surged ahead with a 5k gold lead and nine kills, winning every team fight that followed.
Alter Ego found themselves unable to contest objectives or even defend their own jungle. With no answers left, they eventually folded, as Aurora Gaming PH completed the sweep and lifted the M7 World Championship trophy. For his performance in this series, Dylan "Light" Catipon is awarded the Finals MVP.
