Here is a sneak peek at Aulus’ revamped skills and visual changes based on information from the MLBB advanced server.
Aulus may finally be back in the meta with an upcoming revamp in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). The advanced server revealed him with a brand-new look and updated set of abilities. His gameplay still relies on stacking Fighting Spirit. However, his kit now allows him to be more aggressive and easily chase down targets. This means veteran Aulus mains will not have to learn everything from scratch.
To help you get up to speed, here is a rundown of the changes made for the Aulus revamp in MLBB based on advanced server data.
Note: We won’t be including specific numbers in this article, as the hero is undergoing constant changes. Final stats will only be confirmed once the revamp goes live on the main server.
All new skills of the Aulus revamp in MLBB
With the recent release of the Eudora revamp, it looks like a Fighter hero is next in line to get overhauled. The Aulus revamp is currently being tested in the MLBB advanced server. Fortunately, the changes are not that massive. If you are familiar with the hero pre-revamp, you should have no problem adapting to the changes.
Let’s take a look at Aulus's new and improved set of abilities in the game:
Passive: Fighting Spirit

The passive remains mostly intact. Aulus gains a stack of Fighting Spirit each time he deals damage to targets. Each stack increases his Attack Speed. At max stacks, his basic attacks get enhanced, dealing extra damage to enemies in a straight line.
This is what makes Aulus the hero that he is. Due to his heavy reliance on basic attacks, enemies can simply run away from him by building movement speed or applying crowd control. This is his biggest problem pre-revamp.
Skill 1: Aulus, Charge!

Briefly gain Fighting Spirit stacks even without damaging enemy targets while also gaining extra movement speed. Not performing basic attacks for a brief moment will cause Aulus to enter the Enraged state, gaining Control Immunity.
This is a much-needed change for Aulus. Passively stacking Fighting Spirit means he no longer needs to rely on hitting targets to reach maximum stacks. On top of that, the Movement Speed and CC Immunity buff allows for better kiting or chasing down targets.
Skill 2: The Power of Axe

Aulus charges forward. When he hits an enemy hero or creeps or reaches maximum distance, he swipes his axe in a fan-shaped area to deal damage. When successfully hitting an enemy, this ability can be used again to dash forward and smash the ground, dealing damage to surrounding enemies.
Another mobility for Aulus. This ability allows you to jump in and out of a fight as long as you hit a target. It's also a good ability to use on jungle rotations, letting you jump through thin walls.
Ultimate: Undying Fury

Aulus swings his axe at nearby enemies multiple times to deal damage. On the final strike, he charges before unleashing a wider slash that deals damage to enemies in a wider area. Over the duration, Aulus gains Damage Reduction and a brief Movement Speed boost with each slash.
You will most likely use this Ultimate in star fights. The Damage Reduction buff is useful to stay alive when the enemy team dives on you. The damage you do with each slash also adds to the Fighting Spirit stacks. It feels like a lesser version of X.Borg's Ult.
When is the release date of the Aulus revamp in MLBB?

MOONTON Games has yet to announce the official release date of Aulus revamp in MLBB. For now, you can only access this hero in the advanced server of MLBB. He gets a few balance changes from time to time, so we'll never know his full potential until the release day. Based on what we’re seeing on the advanced server, Aulus revamp already shows signs of being a much stronger and more viable pick in MLBB. However, his lack of powerful Crowd Controls may be a problem, especially against assassin heroes who are much faster than him.
If you want to try out the new hero, you can apply for advanced server access in MLBB by following our guide.
