That said, here is a quick recap of the Alter Ego vs Team Spirit match in the M7 World Championship Knockout Stage Day 4.
Alter Ego vs Team Spirit: M7 Knockout Stage Day 4 Recap
Game 1

Alter Ego opened the series aggressively, catching Team Spirit off guard in the early game. Despite the shaky start, Team Spirit managed to keep the gold difference close through disciplined play. By the 9-minute mark, Arifudin “Arfy” Dingarai had accumulated enough resources to become a near-unbreakable frontline for Alter Ego. His Esmeralda proved problematic, as Team Spirit struggled to bring him down and burned multiple resources in failed attempts.
At the 12-minute mark, Arfy had reached a point where no one could realistically stop him. With his ability to bypass shields and deal heavy damage, he became a massive teamfight threat. Recognizing this, Team Spirit adjusted by ignoring Arfy and focusing on his teammates instead—successfully scoring a four-man pickoff at the 14-minute mark, with Arfy as the lone survivor.
Mathaios “KidBomba” Chatzilakos kept Team Spirit alive with his Alice, creating space and sustaining fights for his team. As the game dragged on, Team Spirit’s lead became too much for Alter Ego to handle, forcing the Indonesian squad to concede jungle control and turtle inside their base. A desperate teamfight attempt by Alter Ego at the 24-minute mark failed, resulting in a wipeout and allowing Team Spirit to close out Game 1.
Game 2

Alter Ego strikes back in Game 2 with a teamfight-centric composition. This was thanks to Dalvin “Hijumee” Putra’s Yve pick, which provided wide area control. This made it extremely difficult for Team Spirit to initiate fights, as the layered crowd control limited their escape options.
By the 10-minute mark, Alter Ego held a 12–4 kill lead alongside a 3k gold advantage, while Team Spirit struggled to find safe resources to farm. Team Spirit found a brief silver lining after taking down Alexander “alekk” Owen, who had been a formidable wall on Grock. Without their tank, Alter Ego briefly backed off before securing a Lord uncontested at the 16-minute mark. With the Lord marching forward, Alter Ego went straight for the crystal and evened the series.
Game 3

Alter Ego carried their momentum into Game 3, opening with a flawless 6–0 score in the first five minutes. No lane was safe for Team Spirit, as alekk’s Chip enabled constant portal plays that immediately turned into skirmishes for map control.
By the 8-minute mark, Alter Ego had already built an 8k gold lead, leaving Team Spirit with little room to recover. The gap widened further after Alter Ego secured the Lord at the 11-minute mark. This was followed by a long, one-sided teamfight where Alter Ego completely overwhelmed Team Spirit before locking onto the crystal and closing out the third round.
Game 4

Game 4 opened at a much slower pace, with both teams hesitant to take risks. It wasn’t until the second Turtle spawn that the action finally broke out, swinging decisively in Alter Ego’s favor. Team Spirit had no answer for Hijumee’s Pharsa, which gave Alter Ego complete control over engagements and objectives.
At the 9-minute mark, Alter Ego held a 9-kill advantage and a commanding 6k gold lead. The gap continued to grow as Team Spirit failed to find any solution to Alter Ego’s composition. By the 12-minute mark, the outcome was all but decided. Alter Ego marched straight down the lane to end the game and secure the series 3–1.
