Maid Deadpool is causing quite a stir within the Marvel Rivals community. Here's why.
Deadpool and Jeff are getting maid-themed skins in Marvel Rivals Season 7. They are the Deadpool Maid-Pool and Jeff the Land Shark Maid to Chomp costumes. Here are previews of these Marvel Rivals maid skins, how players can unlock them, and why some players are unhappy about maid Deadpool.
Deadpool maid skin controversy
To add Deadpool’s maid skin to your collection, Marvel Rivals players must test their luck in the new Hospitality 101 event. However, some players are unhappy about this as the coveted skin requires participating in a gacha-based acquisition system.
That is, the Hospitality 101 event involves selecting a balloon and popping it randomly to obtain a reward. Hitting the grand prize also grants you all of the remaining rewards, and you need no more than 2,400 units to get all of the items.
“Why do they keep doing these balloon events when we’ve made it abundantly clear we hate them?” one user wrote on X, getting over 1,300 likes at the time of publishing this article. “Just sell us the bundle so we can be done with it and [don’t] gotta gamble.”
Meanwhile, some Overwatch fans are looking at maid Deadpool with hope and envy since a maid-themed Reaper skin has long been a favored concept within the community.
Marvel Rivals maid skins release date
To add Deadpool’s maid skin to your collection, launch Marvel Rivals starting April 9 at 7 p.m. PT / April 10 at 2 a.m. UTC and test your luck in the aforementioned Hospitality 101 event. You have until May 7 at 7 p.m. PT / May 8 at 2 a.m. UTC to obtain the costume.
As for the maid Jeff skin, NetEase games hasn’t revealed the unlock method yet. However, it should also be available starting April 9 at 7 p.m. PT / April 10 at 2 a.m. UTC.

Jeff maid costume in Marvel Rivals
Below is what to expect from the Jeff Maid to Chomp skin. This skin isn’t based on any previous comic appearances, which makes it an original design created specifically for Marvel Rivals Season 7. Many Marvel Rivals players are responding positively to this Jeff costume as well.
