Is Marvel Rivals getting a Lady Loki skin? Here’s what you need to know.
Marvel Rivals recently launched and revealed the details of Season 5.5. The roadmap features costumes, Rogue as a playable character, ranked rewards, and Twitch Drops galore. However, some players are more focused on the possibility of a Lady Loki skin entering the game.
Is Lady Loki entering Marvel Rivals?
In an early access stream by Flats, Lady Loki made a brief appearance. "Who's this?" Flats asked with his cursor hovering over her. "Wait. What is this? Lady Loki? Oh, wait. Did we just find a little Easter egg?" The recording was then uploaded on YouTube on Dec. 10. Flats noticed the skin at around 1:43 in the video below.
A post by X0X_LEAK, a team of dataminers, also noticed Lady Loki in Flat's stream. The post stated that the new gallery card gave players first look at the upcoming Lady Loki skin and predicted a release date of early 2026.
"While a release date has not been confirmed, it's very likely that it's the Mystery Skin on January 1st!" the X0X_LEAK account stated. The account claimed that the skin is part of the "Collector's collection" as well.
According to another account, RivalsAssembled, known for Marvel Rivals leaks, this information was provided by X0X_LEAK as early as Dec. 9. RivalsAssembled then went on to post an image of the skin on Dec. 10. Later, on the same day, RivalsAssembled revealed an image of higher quality. The post has since received over 53,000 likes.
Marvel Rivals Lady Loki skin hype
At the time of publishing this article, NetEase, the developer behind Marvel Rivals, has neither confirmed nor denied the existence of a Lady Loki skin. However, that hasn't stopped fans from creating artwork and sharing their thoughts about it.
For example, artist isayaNeko drew Lady Loki with an original character. "I love the new Marvel Rivals Lady Loki skin, so I did this," isayaNeko stated.
Meanwhile, users like dontdelete00 on the Marvel Rivals subreddit expressed hope that Lady Loki won't end up being just a Hela skin. Some fans like purechaoswitch also pointed out the similarities to Hela's face, hair, and hand poses while others like mcon96 argued that the model resembles Loki's previous battle pass pose.
"It’s not that far off from the Loki pose they used for last season’s battle pass. Hela [and] Loki are related and already have similar features," mcon96 stated. "So it's not that surprising that they’d look similar. I’m not giving up hope yet."
