Deadpool gets three roles in Marvel Rivals: “A Marvel three-in-one, baby!”

The Marvel Rivals team just revealed more details about what players can expect in Season 6. Read on for our quick break down of what the NetEase Games team had to say about Deadpool as a new hero, the new map, and more.

Marvel Rivals Season 6 will launch on Jan. 16. According to creative director Guangguang, this season will arrive with Deadpool as a new hero.

In Season 6, Deadpool will be a hero with three roles. He'll be a Duelist, Vanguard, and a Strategist. He'll have dual swords and dual pistols to dish out damage and heal his allies alongside an adorable unicorn plushie to create shields.

Marvel Rivals Season 6 will also get the Museum of Contemplation as a new convoy map. This one will launch with the Jan. 29 update. This update will feature the Clobberin' Club as a new area in Times Square as well.

"Challenge others to duels here, and if you spend a small amount of units, your match will be broadcast live on the big screens in Time Square," Guangguang said.

Time Square will also get Photo Mode added to it.

Next, Season 6 will feature a major upgrade to the hero proficiency system. There will be higher hero caps and additional rewards such as the ones below.

In terms of other Season 6 updates, there will be new accessories for multiple heroes, better faction rewards for those in the Marvel Rivals Championship, plus perks for the collegiate scene.

As for new Team-Ups, they will include Parker Power-Up featuring Peni Parker and Spider-Man plus Mr. Pool's Interdimensional Toy Box featuring Deadpool and Jeff.
