The League of Legends EMEA Championship Summer 2024 season will begin soon. Check out when LEC Summer 2024 starts and what's on the line for the eight EMEA teams competing.

Games are broadcast on the official Twitch and YouTube channels. On top of this, there are also official co-streamers including Caedrel, Ibai, and Kameto on their respective channels.

The LEC Summer 2024 split is scheduled to begin on June 8, 2024. It will continue with the previous structure of having 10 teams compete in a best-of-one single round-robin.

The top eight teams from the regular season will qualify for the playoffs where they will compete for Championship Points.

The LEC has three seeds for Worlds 2024. The first team to qualify will be the winner of the Summer split. The remaining two teams will be decided in the Season Finals.

The LEC Winter and Spring 2024 splits were both won by G2 Esports. Thanks to this, they earn a spot in the Season Finals. G2's slot at Worlds 2024 is as good as booked, even if they don't win the Summer split. This is a testament to their dominant performance in the league and region as a whole.

The Summer split and the Season Finals are simply for seeing which teams will accompany G2 Esports to Worlds. G2 had a good run in MSI 2024, finishing 4th after two match losses to T1. Fnatic, the other LEC representative, qualified from the play-in stage but was unable to find a match win in the bracket stage.
