The beloved game mode will make a return on March 4, 2025 with LoL Patch 25.S1.5. The exact time it goes live differs per region.

For players in the OCE, JP, NA, LAN, LAS, BR, KR, VN, TW, PH, TH, SG regions, Arena goes live on 19:00 UTC.

Arena will be live until LoL Patch 25.S2.1 goes live on April 30, 2025.

League of Legends game modes

This run of Arena is shorter than last year's. Arena last went live at the beginning of May 2024, and lasted the entirety of the Split. This equated to a few months of Arena. This time, however, it goes live in the middle of Act 2 and will last until Season 1 ends. This means that we're only getting under 7 weeks of the game mode.

Rotating game mode enjoyers shouldn't worry, though. According to LoL devs, they're making an effort to always have an "alternate or novel way to enjoy League every patch." This comes in the form of game modes, like ARURF or One-For-All, major updates to old ones like the big Arena changes, new game modes (like Swarm). They also said they're working on new ways, but offered no early information regarding as to what this may be.
