The LEC Spring Split starts soon

Team Heretics has announced a roster change ahead of the LEC Spring Split. Rookie Artur ‘Zwyroo’ Trojan will replace Luka ‘Perkz’ Perković on the roster after the team. Former free agent Adrian ‘Trymbi’ Trybus also replaces Norman ‘Kaiser’ Kaiser on the squad.

We’ve identified multiple issues with the team, one of them being lack of leadership and communication especially after the early game.

Heretics roster changes ahead of LEC Spring Split 2024

Even though Kaiser is a really skilled player, we think that Trimby can bring that skill into the team which is something that we are missing and it is really affecting us.

Zyroo has been on the Heretics Academy team for close to two years and is extremely popular. This will be the first time he will have to prove himself on the LEC stage.

Community Reactions to the Heretics Changes

The community hasn’t taken kindly to the roster change with fans. Fans have complained about the constant changes in the roster and the lack of time together to fix their issues.

Team Heretics has not had a great run despite signing some big names on the League of Legends roster. The team finished 7th in the LEC Winter 2024 finishing the Split with a 4-5 score. To their credit, they reached the Playoffs. Unfortunately, they lost out in the first match of the playoffs, down in the lower bracket.

Their first elimination match of the playoffs was against SK Gaming, which they had a 1-2 loss. Considering the quality of players and the extremely high expectations from the team, a 7th place finish was just not enough for the fans and for the team owners.
