T1 reveals their 2025 jacket, sparking debate as fans humorously compare the design to a McDonald’s uniform.
The first tournament for T1’s League of Legends team, the LCK Cup 2025, is just around the corner. To mark this special occasion, T1 has revealed a sneak peek of their brand-new uniform jacket. The unveiling came through a video titled "2025 T1" posted on their official YouTube channel on Jan. 4.
The video features T1's new roster for 2025 — Doran, Oner, Faker, Gumayusi, and Keria, often abbreviated as DOFGK — and the coaching staff: kkOma, Tom, and Mata. In addition, the players wear the first edition of their 2025 uniform jacket.
The uniform jacket boasts a vibrant red color scheme and prominently displays logos from key sponsors such as GOALSTUDIO, Mercedes-Benz, and Red Bull. However, as in previous years, the five-star golden logo, a hallmark reserved exclusively for T1’s Worlds uniforms, will not appear on this design.
Additional details about the uniform were shared on January 5 via X. The jacket will be priced at KRW 149,000 (approximately $102 USD, while the uniform jersey and pants will cost $119,000 KRW (approximately $81 USD) and $99,000 KRW (approximately $68 USD), respectively. Membership pre-sales are scheduled from Jan. 6 to Jan. 8, followed by the first general sale on Jan. 13 and a second general sale on Feb. 7. All dates and times are in KST.

Fans are dissatisfied with the design
Despite the anticipation surrounding T1’s new roster and their upcoming matches, fan reactions to the new jacket have been largely critical. Many have expressed dissatisfaction with the bright red color and overall design.
On T1’s official post on X, some fans commented that the jacket looked too generic, likening it to uniforms from brands such as McDonald’s, Haidilao, and even gas station attendants. One long-time supporter who claimed to own several of T1’s past jackets shared their hesitation to purchase the new one, citing the uninspired design as a key factor.
However, not all feedback has been negative. Some fans have embraced the bold aesthetic, with one pointing out its resemblance to the classic T1 uniforms from their golden era between 2013 and 2016. For these supporters, the design evokes a sense of nostalgia, reminding them of T1’s dominance during that period.
T1 introduces 2025 tagline, aims for the historical three consecutive Worlds victory
Alongside the jacket reveal, T1 introduced their 2025 tagline: "BE:ING." While the team has yet to elaborate on its meaning, fans can expect further details in the near future.
The video also highlighted the team's determination to build on their legacy. T1’s sights are set on making history with a third consecutive World Championship victory in 2025. If successful, this would surpass their current record of two separate back-to-back Worlds wins, a feat unmatched in League of Legends esports history.
