The MSI event is returning to South Korea and Europe in the next two years. This year, however, will feature Canada.
A well-known event in the League of Legends scene, the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) tournament, has already confirmed locations for 2026 and 2027.
In the developer's update video, it was announced that South Korea will hold the 12th edition of the MSI event. But first, let's see where the 2025 edition will take place.
MSI 2025 location
This year's edition will happen in Canada, which something that has never happened before. The only city confirmed so far is Vancouver. Between June and July, we will see 10 teams from all around the world competing there.

League of Legends events in South Korea aren't a surprise. This year, The First Stand will have its debut in the country. Then, in 2026, MSI will return to South Korea for the first time since 2022. Royal Never Give Up won that championship 3-2 against T1. They also became the first team to win three MSI titles.
MSI 2027 in Europe
Worlds 2024 happened in Europe, where T1 defended their title as the world champions. In 2027, MSI will return to Europe for the third time, following previous events in Germany and France in 2018 and Iceland in 2021. During the 2021 MSI event, RNG defeated DWG KIA (now Dplus KIA) 3-2 to claim the title. There's still no information on which European country will host the event in 2027.
