Prestige Requiem Sona continues the story of Demacia in LoL 2026 Season 1 Act 2, and the skin is beautiful.
Sona is the recipient of a beautiful Prestige skin with Prestige Requiem Sona. This skin is part of Act 2 of League of Legends 2026 Season 1: Demacia. Here's a first look at everything we know about this skin.
Prestige Requiem Sona
Prestige Requiem Sona will be available on the S1 Act 2 battle pass as the final reward.
The battle pass is available for 1650 RP, but you do have to play games and complete missions to progress it.
In her finest funerary garb, Sona plays a hero's lament. Silent hands give voice to a melody that swells in triumph played forte, and cascades into the bittersweet shadow of pianissimo grief, her tribute to a fallen friend. With this performance, she will tell his tale in the form of a song that will never die, and never be forgotten.
In the splash art, Sona is grieving Xin Zhao's death following the events of the Twilight's End cinematic. The news of his death has reached Demacia, as we can see from Salvation; Yunara brought Xin Zhao's spear back to the hands of its king, Jarvan IV.

This is Sona's second Prestige skin, with the first being Prestige Immortal Journey Sona back in August 2023.
The Demacia Act 2 battle pass will also include Corrupted Petricite skins for Maokai and Xerath.
While less canon-relevant, these skins explore an alternate universe where Maokai and Xerath are instead powered by corrupted petricite. As a refresher, petricite comes from the magic-nullifying "trees" that Demacia is built around.
Prestige Requiem Sona, the Corrupted Petricite skins, and the entire Demacia Act 2 battle pass will be available on League of Legends Patch 26.5, scheduled for March 4, 2026.
