Arcane Season 2 trailer explained

The Arcane Season 2 preview kicks off with eerie music before zooming in on the arm getting pumped with red liquid. It appears that the arm belongs to Singed, who is the scientist behind Shimmer. In League of Legends Arcane universe, Shimmer is a drug created with purple flowers. These flowers can be found in Zaun's caves.

As Singed wakes up, he observes that the red liquid is coming from some large canisters. Singed then caresses an item in his hand before snapping it shut.

The Arcane Season 2 trailer then zooms out to reveal a monstrosity hanging above Singed. Similar to the canisters, it has the same strange, green glow. This monstrosity also appears to have animal-like features in terms of its legs and claws.

Is Warwick in Arcane Season 2?

A popular fan theory notes that the character is Warwick. In the League of Legends game, Warwick is a monster who hunts in the alleys of Zaun. In addition to being transformed by agonizing experiments, his body is fused with chambers, pumps, and machinery. These chambers, pumps, and machinery appear to fit well with the Arcane Season 2 trailer.

The Warwick theory also involves Vander, who was the adoptive father of Jinx and V. The fan theory suggests that after Vander's death, he transformed into Warwick through those aforementioned experiments.

Arcane Season 2 release date

The release date for Arcane Season 2 is November 2024. Therefore, League of Legends fans who wish to catch up on the inaugural season still have a lot of time to do so.
