LPL Split 1 2025 format
In terms of the format, LPL 2025 Split 1 featured 16 teams divided into four groups based on placements from 2024. These four groups of four teams duked it out in single round-robin, best-of-five (Bo5) matches under the Hard Fearless Draft format. This meant champions were only picked once per series by either team. Additionally, the Game 1 side selection were decided by a one-versus-one (1v1) solo match — with the top two teams from each group heading to the LPL 2025 Split 1 Playoffs.
The LPL 2025 Split 1 Playoffs then featured eight teams fighting in Bo5 matches under the double-elimination format. These used the Hard Fearless Draft format as well. In terms of what was at stake, it was a spot in the First Stand 2025 tournament.
