The Quarterfinals and Semifinals will take place in Shanghai, while the Grand Finals are set for Chengdu. The last time LoL Worlds was held in China was in 2020, when DAMWON Gaming claimed the title. Chengdu, however, hosted MSI in 2024, where Gen.G emerged as the champions. The ticket sales for these cities will open soon. We will update you as soon as that information is released.

The LoL Worlds 2025 will feature a $5 million prize pool, more than double last year's event - $2.25 million. In an interview with Daily Esports, Chris Greeley, the Global Head of League of Legends Esports, revealed it's important not only to invest in the pro-level but also to give opportunities to amateur teams to become self-sustainable and generate revenue.
