The LoL Worlds 2024 peak online viewership went up by 96% between the Play-In Stage and Swiss Stage.

The League of Legends Worlds 2024 (LoL Worlds 2024) is in full swing, and the top teams are currently in the Swiss Stage. Several teams have set new viewership records during their matches. Read on for the LoL Worlds 2024 Swiss Stage viewership details and more!

LoL Worlds 2024 peak online viewership up by 96% between stages

According to Esports Charts, a new record has been set for peak online viewership. In LoL Worlds 2023, this metric increased by 50% between the Play-In Stage and the Swiss Stage. In LoL Worlds 2024, however, this metric surged to 96%.

As for other viewership records, several participants of the LoL Worlds 2024 Swiss Stage, including Top Esports (TES), PaiN Gaming (PNG), Hanwha Life Esports (HLE), Team Liquid (TL), and GAM Esports (GAM), set new highs during their matches.

In their match against T1, for example, TES reached 2.82 million peak views (PV). Meanwhile, the PNG versus T1 standoff achieved 2.35 million PV while HLE versus G2 Esports (G2) had 2.29 million PV, TL versus Weibo Gaming (WBG) earned 2.02 million, and GAM versus Fnatic (FNC) reached 1.52 million PV.

The average viewership during this stage increased by 60% compared to the previous stage, added Esports Charts.

Caedrel and Tolkin hit community records

On the community side of the event, esports personality Marc Robert "Caedrel" Lamont had over 227,400 concurrent viewers during the battle between G2 and WBG. Meanwhile, streamer Niklot "Tolkin" Stüber broke a personal record of attracting more than 51,300 viewers during the same match.

The final Swiss Stage matches will kick off on Oct. 13. Then, it's off to the LoL Worlds 2024 Quarterfinals! With current viewership records being shattered, fans can expect even more exciting developments as the top teams compete for a shot at the 2024 trophy.
