Seraphine receives some signficant adjustments.

Riot Games will usher in LoL Patch 14.5 bringing changes to several Champions, three new cosmetics, and more. The new Patch will go live in March 2024 but we already have a good idea of what to expect in LoL Patch 14.5. Here are the LoL Patch 14.5 Early Patch notes and everything you need to know.

While some Champins such as Jarvan IV, Rek’Sai, Wukong and others have received buffs, there have been nerfs for Bel’Veth, Evelynn, Senna, Sylas, and more. 

What's changed in LoL Patch 14.5?

A brief summary of the LoL Patch 14.5 Patch notes is as follows:

Champion Buffs:

  • Jarvan IV: Cooldown (CD) and Armor values adjusted, Healing increased.
  • Kog'Maw: Healing and damage increased.
  • Rek'Sai: Q - Auto-cancellation removed, bug fixes, and improvements in maximum health percentage damage.
  • Sivir: Attack Damage (AD) and Passive ability adjustments.
  • Veigar: Cooldown reduction on R, damage increased on Q.
  • Wukong: Damage increase and refund mechanism added for E ability.

Champion Nerfs:

  • Bel'Veth: Damage reduction on Q, Ability Power (AP) scaling reduction.
  • Brand: Cooldown increase on E ability.
  • Evelynn: AP scaling reduction.
  • Malzahar: AP scaling reduction, damage reduction on Q.
  • Nidalee: AD Ratio reduction, damage reduction on Q in Cougar Form.
  • Senna: AD Ratio reduction.
  • Sylas: Cooldown increase on E ability.
  • Twisted Fate: AP scaling reduction.
  • Zac: Base damage reduction, maximum Health Points (HP) damage reduction.

Champion Adjustments:

  • Seraphine: Various adjustments to mana, cooldowns, and damage output.
  • Smolder: Damage increase on abilities.
  • Yorick: Cooldown adjustments and Maiden of the Mist no longer takes AoE damage.

System Buffs:

  • Dream Maker: Shield and damage adjustments.
  • Heatseeker: Damage increase.
  • Icicle Rocketball: Damage adjustments.
  • Storming Gale: Projectile speed and cooldown adjustments.
  • Sunfire Aegis: Damage increase on Immolate.

System Nerfs:

  • Frozen Heart: Armor reduction.
  • Lich Bane: AP Ratio reduction.
  • Solstice Sleigh: Max HP percentage damage reduction.

League of Legends Patch 14.5 Patch Notes

Champions

Bel’Veth

  • E damage reduced from 42-70 to 15-55percent.

Brand

  • R base damage reduced from 100-300 +25% AP to 100-250 +25% AP
  • R cooldown increased from 105-75 to 110-90 seconds.

Evelynn

  • Q AP Ration: 30% changed to 25% (it hits up to four times. Mark damage unaffected. Max AP ration changed from 1.95 to 1.75)

Jarvan IV

  • Q cooldown reduced from 10/9.5/9/8.5/ 8 seconds to 10/9/8/7/6 seconds
  • AR level changed from 4.8 to 5.2

Kayn (Rhaast)

  • P Healing changed from 25% to 25%+0.5% Bonus HP. It reaches to around 32% on an average 4-item fighter build
  • R Red healing changed from 65% to 75%

Kog’Maw

  • Q cast time changed from 0.25 seconds to auto attack windup.
  • E slow increased from 30/35/40/45/50% to 40/45/50/55/60%
  • The R Min AD Ration changed from 65% to 75%
  • P MS changes from 0-40% to 10-50%

Maokai

  • Movement speed reduced from 335 to 330.
  • Q bonus monster damage increased from 80-160 to 120-160.
  • W cooldown increased from 13-9 to 14-10 seconds.
  • Solstice Sleigh nerfed

Nidalee

  • Movement speed reduced from 340 to 335.
  • Cougar Q bonus damage reduced from 40 to 30 percent.

Rek’Sai

  • Auto Attack animation/speed improevments
    • Q Auto can no longer be cancelled
  • E 100 Fury Damage: 6-14% Max HP changed to 8-14% Max Hp
  • E Monster ap: 60-400 changed to 75-400.
  • R Dmage changed from 100-400 + 100%bAD + 20-30% Missing HP to 150-450 + 100%bAD + 24-35% Missing hP

Senna

  • Q damage bonus attack damage ratio decreased from 50 to 40 percent.

Seraphine

  • Movement Speed changed from 325 to 300
  • Mana growth from 50 to 25
  • Mana Regen growth changed from .4 to .95
  • Attack Damage changed from 55 to 50
  • Q mana changed from 65-85 to 60-100
  • Missile Speed changed from 1200 to 1300
  • Damage changed to 55-155 to 60-160
  • Execute 1.5x changed to 1.6x
  • W Cooldown changed from 28-16 to 22-18
  • The Mana cost changed from 80-100 to 70-90
  • Shield Changed from 50-150 to 60-160
  • The Movement speed AP ration changed from 4% to 2%
  • E Cooldown changed from 10%  to 11-9%
  • Mana cost changed from 60-80 to a static 60
  • Damage changed from 60-200+35% to 70-190 +50%
  • CC duration changed from 1.25 to 1.1-1.5

Sivir

  • Base armor increased from 26 to 30.

Smolder

  • Q3 Burn changed from 6.5% Max Health True Damage to 2% Bonus AD + 1.5% AP + 1% Dragon Practice Stacks)% MAx Health True Damage
  • E Number of Attacks: changed from 5+5% Crit Strike Chance to 5+2% Dragon Practice Staks
  • R Base Damage changed from 225-475 to 200-400 
  • R Sweetspot Multiplier changed from 130% to 150%
  • R Heal changed from 110-210 + 75% AP to 100-170 + 50% bonus AD + 75% AP

Twisted Fate

  • E attack speed reduced from 10-60 to 10-50 percent, base attack damage scaling reduced from 75 to 50 percent.

Vayne

  • Passive movement speed reduced from 45 to 30.
  • Q cooldown increased from 4-2 to 6-2 seconds.

Veigar

  • Q ability power ratio increased from 80-240 + 45-65% AP to 80-240 + 50-70% AP
  • R cooldown reduced from 120-60 to 100-60 seconds.

Vex

  • Passive base damage increased from 30-140 +20% AP to 40-150 + 25% AP
  • Killing units with E now grants E refund

Wukong

  • Number of passive stacks reduced from 10 to 5.
  • Passive bonuses per stack increased from 50 to 100 percent.
  • Passive stacks now fall off one at a time rather than all at once.

Yorick

  • E bonus damage from ghouls reduced from 30 to 20 percent.
  • R Maiden resists increased from 10-50 linear (10-18) to 30-90 linear (6-18).
  • Maiden no longer takes -50% AOE damage

Zac

  • P heal decreased from 5-8 max health to 4-7 percent of max HP
  • W base damage increased from 35-95 to 40-100.

Items

Celestial Opposition

  • Blessing of the Mountain buffs:
    • Cooldown reduced 20 >>> 18 seconds
    • Slow increased 50% >>> 60%
    • Slow duration increased 1.5 >>> 2 seconds

Dream Maker

  • Dream Maker changes:
    • Damage reduction changed 140 flat >>> 75-255 (based on levels 6-18)
    • Bonus damage changed 90 flat >>> 50-170 (based on levels 6-18)

Frozen Heart

  • Armor reduced 70 >>> 65
  • Cost increased 2400 >>> 2500 gold

Heartsteel

  • Base damage reduced from 100 (+10% bonus HP from items) to 80 (+12% bonus HP from items)

Hextech Rocketbelt

  • AP increased 60 >>> 70
  • Cost increased 2500 >>> 2600 gold

Lich Bane

  • Spellblade AP ratio reduced 50% >>> 45%

Rod of Ages

  • Can no longer buy second Rod of Ages after Ornn upgrades first one.

Runaan’s Hurricane

  • Pulled from patch due to “unforeseen issues.”

Solstice Sleigh

  • Cooldown increased from 20 to 30 seconds.
  • Speed reduced from 25 to 35 percent.
  • Bonus health changed from seven percent total health to 50-230 linear from levels 6-18 (breaks even at 714-3,286 health, nerfed above).
  • Tooltip tracker now refers to “total proc times” as “sleigh rides.”

Stormsurge

  • Move Speed increased 5% >>> 8%

Sunfire Aegis

  • HP increased 450 >>> 500
  • Immolate base damage increased 12 >>> 15
