ZOFGK fans, rejoice! T1 wants to keep the squad together.

After the conclusion of the League of Legends 2024 World Championship (LoL Worlds 2024), many think that the back-to-back champions of the T1 roster will no longer be together in 2025. However, the organization is keen on keeping the ZOFGK squad.

More ZOFGK for 2025?

The players apparently have a "will to be together," particularly AD Carry Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyung. This is according to a report posted on the South Korean website Naver, where the reporter claims to have spoken with a T1 official.

The reporter also says that Gumayusi seems to want his professional LoL career to start and end with T1. He began as a trainee for SK Telecom T1 in 2019 under the ID "Catan," before renaming to Gumayusi when he became part of the infamous 10-man roster for 2020. He became the starting bot laner for the team in 2022.

The report on Naver also quoted Josh Woong-ki Ahn, T1's chief operating officer (COO), saying that T1 will strive to work together with the players coming into the 2025 season.

ZOFGK

The roster of Gumayusim, Choi "Zeus" Woo-je, Mun "Oner" Hyeon-jun, Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok, and Ryu "Keria" Min-seok are referred to as "ZOFGK" by the fanbase. The five players have been competing under the T1 banner since 2022 and have found incredible success.

In their three years of competing, they made Worlds Finals thrice and lifted the trophy twice. They were also incredibly consistent in the regional League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) splits, finishing third at worst.

The upcoming LCK Cup, which qualifies teams to the new international event "First Stand," will introduce new mechanics, including Fearless Draft. If ZOFGK stays together for next year, it would be exciting to see the breadth of this team's champion picks and how they would perform under the re-structured league.
