LCK Rostermania 2025: all transfers and changes

League of Legends Champions Korea, or LCK, has closed the player's market for its 2025 rostermania. Some coaches and technical teams have still to be assembled, but the majority of the players are chosen. This year, we have some interesting transfers to let you know of. Let's dive into it.

The 10th, and last place in the league, made some changes for the LCK 2025. Top and Support renewed their contracts, and the remaining lanes have new players. Coach Edgar will keep coaching the team as he's been doing since 2020.

Clozer came from BNK FearX, HamBak from KT Rolster, and Bull from KDF Challengers, where he played for about four years. Clozer was the substitute for T1 from 2020 to 2021, entering the team through T1 Academy - he was only 16 years old.

Since the LoL Worlds 2022, DRX hasn't had great days in the LCK since then. Finishing 9th place in LCK Spring 2024, the team was almost totally changed, keeping only the jungle whose contract was renewed until 2025.

They also contracted a second jungle. As for the bot lane, Teddy's contract expired a few days ago, but there's still no information about his position on the team.

Played in Dignitas in 2023, but a year later Rich went in a new direction, being Riot Games' analyst. However, he coming back to the professional LoL as DRX's new top laner.

As for Juhan, the jungle, he came from GiantX. Pleata, on the other hand, entered DRX Academy in 2020 was stayed in the team until now.

Nongshim RedForce had a lot of surprises for next year's roster. Both coaches left the team, but Nongshim brought two great players to the roster. Mid-laner Fisher and bot laner Jiwoo renewed until 2026, and the jungle Silvie until 2025.

Kingen, known for his amazing Aatrox, passed through KT Rolster, Bilibili Gaming, DRX (where he won LoL Worlds 2022), Hawnha Life, Dplus KIA, and now will have his debut on Nongshim RedForce. As for the Support, the previous Gen.G play Lehends was transferred to Nongshim RedForce.

As for the rebranding of FearX to BNK FearX, the team transferred many contracts and moved some players to BNK FearX Youth. Clear, Raptor, and Diable were already part of the group, the remaining players were new to the team.

VicLa debuted in 2020 in KT Rolster Academy and played for the team for two years, moving then to North America, China, and finally coming back to the LCK to play for BNK FearX. Kellin came from Dplus KIA, a team where he played since 2020.

As for Kwangdong Freecs, there are three adding to the initial roster, including the head coach. As for the top laner, the mid laner, and the support, their contracts were renewed until 2025.

With a small passage through NA, Pyosik came back to the LCK to play for KT Rolester and now Freecs. Berserker, who started his professional career in T1 Academy, played for three years in Cloud9, coming back to Korea for the next year.

KT Rolster made only two changes to their roster for the LCK 2025. PerfecT and Bdd extended their contract until 2026. Both the top laner and the support joined from the sister team, KT Rolster Challengers.

With an eight-year-long career, Cuzz transferred to KT Rolster, a team he played between 2021 and 2023. As for deokdam, the player came back to the LCK after one year in China.

With Kingen and Kellin leaving, Dplus KIA had to look for another top laner and support. Lucid, Showmaker, and Aiming will remain on the team until 2025. Lucid and Showmaker have contracts with Dplus KIA until 2026. The team remains without a head coach.

Siwoo was part of the DPlus KIA Academy and Challengers team, being now promoted to the main team. As for BeryL, the 27-year player played for Dplus KIA (by then called DAMWON and DWG KIA) for about four years. He was transferred to DRX, being part of the winning team when they won the LoL Worlds 2022, moved to KT Rolster, and came back to Dplus KIA.

HLE surprised everyone by contracting T1 Zeus from such a united and powerful team as it was, especially after winning many LoL Worlds together. The rest of the team remains. Doran, the previous top laner, moved to T1.

Many fans considered this HLE team as one of the best ever as well as one of the most powerful teams of the LCK 2025.

Just like I wrote before, T1 ZOFGK ended this year with the news of Zeus' departure. T1, however, announced Doran as the final choice for the top lane. In his first live stream as a T1 player, he thanked the opportunity and the fans for the warm welcome.

T1 still has one of the best teams of the LCK, with four LoL Worlds 2023 and 2024 winners. As for the head coach, Roach leaves to comply with his mandatory military service and is replaced with Mata, an ex-pro player from T1 and the idol for many support trainers, special the Korean ones.

The winner of LCK Spring 2024 changed their bot lane to receive one of the best ADCs in the world, Ruler, and Duro, a support that helped BNK FearX reach very high on the LCK.

Besides being part of the winning team of the Esports Championships East Asia 2023. The rest of the team remains and Chovy, alongside Ruler, signed a three-year-long contract until 2027.

Gen.G keeps being one of the most competitive teams in the LCK. Even though they were not able to reach the finals at LoL Worlds 2024, they have always been very consistent in the LCK.
