Pengu Garen is hiding one fatal flaw.
Pengu Garen is an April Fools skin for League of Legends and there are many things that are just so right with it. However, we do have one complaint about the silly skin.
Pengu Garen April Fools skin in LoL
Let's start with the good things. Here's Pengu Garen's splash art in all of its glory.

There he is! He'll be free to use for all modes excluding Ranked Solo/Duo, Ranked Flex, and Clash. Why isn't he available for these modes? That's because Pengu Garen has a smaller hitbox than regular Garen. This means that there will be a slight advantage for players who use this skin.
If you're willing to let go of some cash to get your funny skins though, check out the rest of the April Fools LoL skin catalog for this year which includes Skibidi Urgot (that's not actually the name) and a legendary skin for Shaco that's incredibly Tom & Jerry inspired.

The skin will also feature unique interactions with Cat-in-the-Box Shaco.

What's wrong with Pengu Garen?
Now what do we think is the one thing wrong with Pengu Garen? The fact that it will only be available during the April Fools event. After the two weeks, he'll be permanently removed from the game.
However, current player sentiment wants to keep him. This may just be the honeymoon phase, and the opinion of the skin may still change. For example, players may find the changed hitbox too confusing or OP. This isn't completely un-rectifiable though.
We'll have to wait and see if the skin will stay past the April Fools event. For now, stick around esports.gg for more League of Legends news and updates.
