GEN and KT face off on Day 1 of the LoL Worlds 2025 semifinals after some well-earned victories. GEN players enter the matchup from a recent 3-1 win over Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) in the quarterfinals, while KT players arrive with momentum after a dominant 3-0 sweep against CTBC Flying Oyster (CFO).
Both teams also represent the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) circuit, but only one of them can advance to the grand finals. All eyes are on GEN players as they look to repeat their success from the Swiss Stage and set up another clash with T1. As for KT, its players may get to challenge Top Esports (TES) again for the LoL Worlds 2025 title depending on the results.
