Gen.G closed their lineup for 2025 with an incredible roaster, renewing with Kiin, Canyon, and Chovy, and adding Ruler and Duro to the team.
The Korean team Gen.G announced on its official X account that Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon and Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk are signed until 2027. Both mid-laner and bot-laner joined to conquer the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) with an all-star roaster. The Ruler's return to the Korean league excited fans for next year.
Ruler's return to Gen.G
Ruler was part of Gen.G when that name didn't even exist: the team was called KSV eSports. It was rebranded in 2018 to Gen.G as we know it today. ADC Ruler was part of the lineup between 2016 and 2022 when he left the Korean league to play for JD Gaming in the League of Legends Pro League (LPL). After two years, Ruler came back to Korea and his old home: Gen.G. Now, one of the best Koren ADCs, as many fans call him, signed a three-year contract with the team.
