The CaitVi storyboard was posted by Fortiche… where?

Arcane Season 2 showed us the culmination of Caitlyn and Vi's relationship. The pair's intimate scene may have had a less-than-deal location, but the sequence is still well-loved by CaitVi fans. Fortiche, the French studio behind the show, decided to feed the fans a little more by revealing the storyboard for the CaitVi scene in the jail cell.

No censorship and blurry quality this time.

The CaitVi storyboard was posted... where?

The long-awaited storyboard version of the amorous jail cell scene was posted on LinkedIn. Fortiche's 2D animation and storyboard artist Joséphine Meis posted the storyboard featuring Caitlyn and Vi on her LinkedIn, on account of the her nomination in the 52nd Annie Awards under the "Best Storyboard (TV/Series) category.

Meis writes: "I was fortunate enough to be nominated at Annie Awards 2025 for best storyboarding, so here is a peak of my work on the love scene! Many thanks to Fortiche to trust me on this, to my lead Silvia Martelossi and the whole episode 8 team :)"

The Fortiche Production LinkedIn account reposted their post, giving the artist her kudos for the nomination. "Such an incredible achievement and well-deserved recognition for this beautiful work," Fortiche says on their post. "Don’t miss out on Josephine’s masterful work ✨"

The CaitVi scene

Caitlyn and Vi's rendezvous in episode 8 of Arcane season 2 was a satisfying scene for many. For long-time League of Legends players, this was a cool adaptation of the long-time relationship between the two, only previously heavily implied through subtle references and the odd voiceline. For many Arcane viewers, however, the scene was a step towards queer visibility in popular media - executed with gratifying tact and respect.

The search for any and all versions of the romantic CaitVi scene has been an ongoing effort for the Arcane community. It began with a petition on Change.org shortly after showrunner Christian Linke revealed that there's an extended cut of the scene "sitting on a French hard drive."

Then, earlier this year, the storyboard version of the scene surfaced on Bilibili, a Chinese social media platform. Due to the fact that this was a leak, and that Arcane was heavily censored in China, the quality of this leaked storyboard was... less than ideal.

Now, though, CaitVi shippers can have a clear look at the storyboard, straight from Fortiche themselves.
