Anyone's Legend (AL) took down FlyQuest 3-1 in a thrilling series filled with creativity and relentless aggression. After the win, AL’s top laner Li "Flandre" Xuan-Jun spoke with esports.gg about laning against Bwipo, praising his deep champion pool. Flandre also shared his thoughts on his signature Yorick, AL’s team synergy, and expressed confidence ahead of their upcoming clash with Gen.G on July 4.

Meanwhile, FlyQuest drops to the Lower Bracket and is set to face G2 Esports in what promises to be a high-stakes NA vs. EU showdown.

Question: "In a recent interview, you said you were very excited to play against Bwipo. How do you describe the series against him, and which lane do you think was the hardest?"

Flandre: Speaking about this matchup against Bwipo, after all the games, I feel like the difficulty came from the fact that I picked my top lane champions first, which made me feel a little bit of pressure. You know that Bwipo is a player who has a deep champion pool, and I picked first, and I had no idea what he was going to pick. I think he tried to counter me in the games, in general, and he has a big champion pool for that.

"On the second game, as you said, you blind pick Yorick, which was nerfed recently, it is overall an unusual pick at the international events, but is an iconic pick from you. What was going on in your mind to choose Yorick?"

Flandre: The reason I chose Yorick is because he is a good combo with Trundle, and, no matter the top-jungler synergy, this pick is really good into the top and jungler they picked [Viktor and Vi]. As I mentioned, I was a little bit worried about Bwipo's champion pool. I had no idea what he was going to pick, and Mordekaiser caught me off guard. But the main reason was due to the top-jungler synergy. Since I didn't know what he was going to play, I needed to play with more control.

Anyone's Legends power is yet to be revealed.

"For the fourth game, you went for a strong carry champion: Ambessa. Do you prefer to play with these carry and strong champions, or do you prefer the tankier champions like the Sion you played on game three?"

Flandre: I think that, no matter what kind of champions you have, you have to grasp it. You have to be prepared for all kinds of champions, especially for the strongest champions in the current meta. You need picks to adapt to all the possible drafts, to play around with their combos.

"In the last game, you and Shanks were playing so good. Do you think that your first series showed everyone who might not know the Anyone's Legend game, what you are capable of in the MSI 2025?"

Flandre: I don't think we've fully shown what we're capable of yet, since this was our first game. It has been a long time since the last time we played internationally. On the other hand, many players from our roster are debuting internationally here, which means they will still need more time to get used to it. I believe we can perform much better, step by step, match by match, so please keep looking forward to our performances in the future.

Anyone's Legend vs Gen.G: "Kiin is an all-rounder player."

"Your next game is against Gen.G. Are you confident you can win against Kin? What are your expectations for the series?"

Flandre: I definitely have the confidence because we played scrims against them before. I think Kiin is an all-rounder player. I think the series will be more about team play; we need to beat them with team-oriented plays.

"What message do you want to leave to the Anyone's Legends fans, who are supporting you this MSI 2025?"

Flandre: I'm so grateful to the fans who are supporting us all the time. I know that many fans have to stay up all night or get up early to watch us. The next series we will going to be playing much better, to show what we played on the scrims, so we can show our best on the stage. Thank you so much for your support!
