With a new year comes a whole new slew of League of Legends updates. Luckily for all of us, we now have the full League of Legends patch schedule and update dates for the entirety of 2026.
League of Legends 2026 Patch Schedule
Last year began with a new patch nomenclature to reflect the new Season structure. However, they introduced another format shortly after the first one. This is still being used now. Patches are identified with a YY.## format.
As far as we know, 2026 will also have three Seasons. The new year also comes with a Season number reset, so we will have 2026 Season One, 2026 Season Two, and 2026 Season Three.
The Season divisions below are assuming that each Season will be the same length as they were last year. Unless otherwise stated, all dates in the LoL patch schedule is a Wednesday.
LoL 2026 Season One Update Schedule
League of Legends 2026 Season One, For Demacia, is scheduled on Jan. 8, 2026 with Patch 26.01.
This Season also introduces new gameplay changes like Role Quests for all five roles. Atakhan will also no longer be in the game.
