League of Legends: Wild Rift is going to celebrate its fourth anniversary on Oct. 17. And like every anniversary, the game will offer gifts to all the players. This is also the day of the new 5.3 patch, which means that we're going to have new things: a new skin line, game mode, and events. Are you curious?

Wild Rift Anniversary Event Battle Challenge

In this event, you have to accept Heimerdinger's Battle Challenge, and to complete it, you'll have small tasks like "play a game with a specific champion" that you must do to retrieve blue motes and a Rank Loss Shields Card.

Ranked Loss Shields are represented by small gold and blue shield icons just to the left of your Ranked Fortitude. When you have a Rank Loss Shield Card, your emblem will glow blue. If you lose a game with this shield, you're losing the shield instead of the ranked mark. See the example of this player on Reddit.
