The upcoming Honor of Kings Plus update includes a new avatar, Flowborn, battlefield changes, an Honor Pass overhaul, and more.
Honor of Kings is looking to rebrand and adds a massive update in the game. Soon to be called, Honor of Kings (HoK) Plus, the update arrives on June 24, 2025 and will feature multiple quality of life changes based on community feedback and generous events.
Another notable additional in the update is the revamp of the Honor Pass. This includes a new feature where players can customize their own avatar named Flowborn. It’s more than just an avatar as it’s also playable featuring an adaptive combat system that will slowly rollout in time.

All you need to know about the HoK Plus update
Be your own hero with Flowborn
The Honor of Kings Plus update will add a new hero called Flowborn. This hero is your avatar and you can customize them however you want. It’s a unique concept that transcends traditional MOBA hero design:
- Fully Customizable Appearance – Choose your look, skin tone, outfit, and more.
- 2D Poster Creator – Design and share your own profile with stickers, backgrounds, and nameplates.
- Dynamic Combat Adaptation – Versatile weapons and abilities adjust fluidly to multiple lanes.
As mentioned, you can adapt HoK's Flowborn based on your preferred playstyle. However, the different roles will roll out in the coming days. The first one is the Marksman role for Flowborn in Honor of Kings Plus, set to arrive on June 24. This is followed by Tank and Mage with a release window of July 2025.
Performance recognition system revamp
HoK Plus now rewards individual effort, even in defeat:
- New Star System – Stars awarded for both victory and standout personal performance.
- Highlight Moments include:
- Solo highground + crystal destruction → Instant SSS rating
- Full-score carry → +2 Stars
- Great performance despite 1v9 → Potential to retain/gain Stars
- Transparent Global Metrics – Clear tier-to-point conversion for global players.
Real-time voice translation
Honor of Kings Plus breaks barriers with the real-time voice-to-text translation support for English, Chinese, Indonesian, and Malay. It’s a good time to make friends with players from other cultures and language.

- Mid lane now spawns four minions
- Central River Sprite removed
- Rebalanced River Sprites, Space Sprite, and Red Falcon

Limited-time events and freebies
There are a lot to giveaways to check out in the Want It, Get It! Event. Here is a quick rundown:
- From June 19: Complete tasks for special event tokens
- From June 24: Redeem tokens for a 1688-Token Skin Voucher
- From June 28 to 30: Use voucher for any skin released before Jan 1, 2025 (excludes Yun Ying - Crystallight Spear)
On top of all that, the All Skins Free-to-Use Weekend will also kick off for a few days:
- June 28 to 30: All skins released before June 24 (including limited/legendary) are free to use
