Sunday will be a playable character in Honkai: Star Rail!

Honkai Star Rail revealed that Sunday will be a playable character through the regular drip marketing. See what we know about the playable version of Sunday here.

Sunday drip marketing

Sunday is a 5-star Imaginary unit on the Path of Harmony. He is the first male Harmony in the game, barring Trailblazer.

You are all too familiar with Sunday, especially if you have finished the Penacony Trailblaze Quest. He was one of the major antagonists of Penacony.

Prior to the drip marketing reveal, Sunday was theorized to be joining the Astral Express. Unofficial sources showed the in-game model of his playable version, and he had the Astral Express ticket.

However, the official art lacks the ticket, meaning the prior leak was either fake or HoYoverse had a change of plans. This begs the question of where he is now after the Order's abolishment.

Sunday voice actors

It's expected that he will retain the voice actors from when he was an NPC.

For the English voiceover, Sunday was voiced by Griffin Puatu. His previous roles include Seox/Six from Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Ganke Lee from Marvel's Spider-Man, and Bosch from Street Fighter 6. He was involved in the recent Honkai Star Rail voice actor controversy which led to him losing a role. HoYoverse has not announced a change in casting for Sunday.

Sunday's JP VA is Takeo Otsuka. He also voiced Hwei from League of Legends, Jinshi from The Apothecary Diaries, and Aquamarine Hoshino from Oshi no Ko.

When will Sunday be playable in Honkai Star Rail?

He will be playable on December 4, 2024 with the Honkai Star Rail version 2.7 update.
