Check out “The Herta,” the 5-star version of Herta!
Honkai Star Rail officially revealed the 5-star version of Herta through their drip marketing! "The Herta" will be playable in an upcoming HSR update.
5-star The Herta drip marketing
As you might already know, the Herta we've been playing as and encountering in the Space Station have all been puppets. "The Herta," or Herta Prime, or Madame Herta, is the Genius Society member's real body. As a playable unit, The Herta is a 5-star Ice Erudition unit, not a far cry from her 4-star Ice Erudition "Herta" self.
The drip marketing posted by Honkai Star Rail gives us nothing new apart from how she came to refer to her "true self" as The Herta. She expressed her dislike towards "Herta Prime," calling it banal.
In the Japanese version of the reveal, she refers to herself as "Madame Herta" instead.
The post teases an important story beat that may happen soon. "Her appearance this time... must be to deal with an issue that has to be handled herself, right?" The situation must be of stellar importance, seeing as even the appearance of the Doomsday Beast aboard the Herta Space Station did not warrant her real body's presence.

The Herta is expected to inherit the voice actors of her puppet version.\
For the English voiceover, she's voiced by PJ Mattson. Her previous roles include Sylvanas Windrunner from the Warcraft series, Baiken from Guilty Gear: Strive, and Cheer Bear from Care Bears.
The Herta is voiced by Haruka Yamazaki in the Japanese voiceover. Her previous notable roles include Kati Raikkonen from Akiba's Trip, Mero from Monster Musume, and Mirai Kasuga from The Idolm@ster franchise.
When will The Herta be playable in Honkai Star Rail?
She will be playable on January 15, 2025 with the Honkai Star Rail version 3.0 update.
