Story mission Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue: Part 1

The continuation of the Trailblazer’s adventure takes place around the martial arts ceremony Wardance. Many guests arrive there, traveling from distant worlds. Still, some of them have unclear intentions. While the main purpose is to participate in fair combat and demonstrate martial arts mastery, not everyone is going to play by the rules.

In addition to the main Trailblaze mission, there also is Yunli's Companion Mission, Swords to Plowshares. A Xianzhou sword should be returned during a special ceremony. Yunli invites the Trailblazer to take part in it.

New characters in Honkai: Star Rail 2.4

Getting new playable characters and their kits of amazing abilities is one of the best aspects of new versions in Honkai: Star Rail. Who do we get in Version 2.4?

Character Event Warp Phase 1

Starting from the beginning of Version 2.4 and up to August 21, you can use Star Rail Special Passes to obtain a new 5-star character, Yunli, and a 5-star character in rerun, Huohuo.

  • Yunli — a new 5-star Physical character, following the path of Destruction
  • Huohuo — a 5-star Wind character on the path of Abundance

In addition to the top-rank Honkai: Star Rail characters, Version 2.4 character event warp phase 1 features three 4-star characters.

  • Hanya — a 4-star Physical character; the path of Harmony
  • Yukong — a 4-star Imaginary character; the path of Harmony
  • Lynx — a 4-star Quantum character; the path of Abundance

Yunli fights with a greatsword, focusing on big damage. With her Technique Posterior Precedence, Yunli in Honkai: Star Rail can automatically attack a random opponent. Her Talent Flashforge is a counter-attack, dealing Physical DMG.

The Skill of Yunli, Bloodborne Quake restores HP and damages a few opponents. The Ultimate ability, Earthbind, Earthbreak, applies Taunt on all opponents while giving Parry to Yunli. The character’s counters get extra CRIT DMG.

Despite looking like a sweet little girl, Yunli is a tanky character. She is a good powerhouse for any Honkai: Star Rail team.

Character Event Warp Phase 2

The second phase of Honkai: Star Rail 2.4 starts on August 21 and continues up to September 9. This Character Event Warp also features one new character, Jiaoqiu, and one character in rerun, Sparkle.

  • Jiaoqiu — a new 5-star Fire character, following the path of Nihility
  • Sparkle — a 5-star Quantum character, on the path of Harmony

As for the 4-star character in phase 2, you can get:

  • Hook — a 4-star Fire character; path of Destruction
  • Guinaifen — a 4-star Fire character; path of Nihility
  • Arlan — a 4-star Lightning character; path of Destruction

Jiaoqiu burns opponents with his fire. His damage is not as drastic as some Fire Destruction characters (like Firefly). Jiaoqiu is more about applying gradually burning effects of Ashen Roast.

Jiaoqiu has a chance to inflict Ashen Roast with his Technique Fiery Queller, which deals Fire DMG to all opponents if activated before the combat starts. The possibility of adding this effect is much higher with the Skill Scorch Onslaught.

Ashen Roast is also part of Jiaoqiu’s Talent. The Ultimate, Pyrograph Arcanum, increases the stacks of Ashen Roast while dealing Fire DMG.

A new version of March 7th is also available in Version 2.4. It’s an Imaginary character on the Hunt path. To unlock her, you  need to complete a special mission. Then, it will be possible to switch between two versions of Honkai: Star Rail March 7th.

New Light Cones in Honkai: Star Rail 2.4

Alongside character event warps, players can participate in special Light Cone banners.

Light Cone Event Warp Phase 1

Like the character banners of Honkai: Star Rail 2.4 phase 1, this Light Cone event warp continues from July 31 to August 21. It features a new 5-star Light Cone, Dance at Sunset, and some light Cones in rerun.

  • Dance at Sunset — a new 5-star Destruction Light Cone. It’s a great choice specifically for Yunli, as the Light Cone attracts attacks on the wearer, provoking counters, which are strong in Yunli’s kit. Dance at Sunset also applies Firedance, increasing the following damage.
  • Night of Fright — a 5-star Abundance Light Cone.

The 4-star Light Cones in these banners are identical, so you can get them with warps for Dance at Sunset and Night of Fright.

  • The Moles Welcome You — a 4-star Destruction Light Cone
  • Perfect Timing — a 4-star Abundance Light Cone
  • The Birth of the Self — a 4-star Erudition Light Cone

Light Cone Event Warp Phase 2

In phase 2 of Honkai: Star Rail 2.4, the game also features two banners with 5-star light cones. One of them is new, Those Many Springs. They are available from August 21 to September 9.

  • Those Many Springs — a new 5-star Nihility Light Cone. If you get it, consider using this Light Cone for Jiaoqiu, as it even features the character on the cover.
  • Earthly Escapade — a 5-star Light Cone for The Harmony characters.
