Something is wrong with the Special Quest “Doing something Unholy” from the Epic Duels of Rock Legends Hearthstone event.
Like many Hearthstone players, I try to grab as many free resources as I can, and that means completing all quests, but the Doing Something Unholy quests seem to be bugged. You can't make any progress no matter how many Fel, Shadow or Unholy cards you play. What's up with that?
June 9 - 10am PDT UPDATE: Hearthstone is deploying a server-side hotfix in the 26.4.2 patch to address the issue. In the patch notes for the 26.4.2 Hearthstone update, we see the following message: "Fixed a bug where the “Doin’ Somethin’ Unholy” Event Quest was not progressing."
With the issue lasting less than a day, and with 10 more days to go in the event, it's unlikely that Blizzard will give any type of compensation.

Hearthstone teams respond to the Doing Something Unholy problem
Last night, after several complaints, the Hearthstone team added the Doing Something Unholy quest to the list of known issues for the 26.4 patch.
"We’re aware that the “Doin’ Somethin’ Unholy” Event Quest is not progressing. We’re working on a solution to the problem, expected to go out in an upcoming hotfix before the event ends."
The Doing Something Unholy quest is part of the Epic Duels of Rock Legends Hearthstone event that grants three free packs for those who completed it. While many players are able to get the necessary event XP even without doing the quests, more casual users might need this boost to get to those 1,000 XP points.
"You’ve been challenged to an Epic Rock Duel! Will you step up to the stage? From June 6 to June 20, complete Event Quests to earn Event XP on a special event rewards track. Complete the rewards track for one Standard Pack, one March of the Lich King Pack, and one Festival of Legends Packs!"
The bugged Doin’ Somethin’ Unholy event Quest denies Hearthstone players more than just those 150 XP points. It happens that it locks the following quest from the chain too. The Molten Pick of Rock quest grants 225 extra XP points, causing issues for a total of 375 XP points. This is more than a third of what is necessary to complete the track.
The Hearthstone team is against the clock to fix the Doing Something Unholy quest issue, since the event ends on June 20. If Blizzard can't solve the problem, many players could ask for compensation for the free packs missed.
