Minutes ago, Hearthstone finally announced the details of Return to Naxxramas, the miniset for March of the Lich King expansion featuring Thaddius as a main character. As we anticipated yesterday, the Miniset will revolve around the Battle for Silvermoon with Naxxramas making an appearance. Let's go over the new cards and known information.
Return to Naxxramas Hearthstone Miniset: new cards and reveals
Once again, the predictions we made were on point, and the Return to Naxxramas Miniset for March of the Lich King expansion will arrive on February 14. While the announcement didn't include the full patch notes, Blizzard revealed some new cards from the upcoming content update.
The March of the Lich King expansion was only the first step of the Death Knight class into the game. Today, with the new Return to Naxxramas miniset we see more support for Hearthstone's brand new class, including a new Location and Colossal minion for it!
"Return to Naxxramas unlocks Death Knight’s full potential with the class’s first Location and Colossal cards! But the Lich King isn’t the only one getting support. The Mini-Set also includes all-new Dual-Type minion creations, advanced synergies, and a terrifying new way to win the game!"

Get ready for the assault
So far, we know these for new cards from the Return to Naxxramas Hearthstone Miniset. But don't blink, there will be more reveals coming up. We will know every card by Sunday, so don't even blink.
Hearthstone players can get the Return to Naxxramas Miniset either with Runestone or in-game gold. As usual, the full card set costs 2000 gold or $15 worth of Runestones (prices might vary depending on region).
Moreover, whales can get the all-Golden Return to Naxxramas Hearthstone Miniset for $70 or, for the first time ever, 10,000 Gold. The premium version also brings a bonus Diamond Legendary. Be careful when entering the shop, the all-Golden is the default promoted version. You can buy the regular one after switching tabs on the top left.
The Return to Naxxramas Miniset includes 38 unique cards, 3 more than the previous sets due to Hearthstone launching a new class in its last expansion. The rarity spread stays almost the same, but with three extra Rare cards:
- 4 Legendary cards
- 1 Epic card
- 17 Rare cards
- 16 Common cards
