Blizzard teases monthly Hearthstone subscription
Would you pay for a Hearthstone subscription? Do you want in-game cosmetics that reference k-pop and anime? A new survey is asking players for their thoughts.
Blizzard recently sent out a Hearthstone survey, and it's a hot topic within the community.
Hearthstone subscription survey
Blizzard sent out the Hearthstone survey link to select players, and a Reddit user shared it with the community. The post had screenshots that listed potential features and content that could be included as part of a big Hearthstone update.
The questionnaire asked players to select up to five options that would motivate them the most. Different Hearthstone subscriptions were among these choices.
- $10 Monthly Hearthstone Subscription (All Standard cards for 1 class): Access to every Standard card from one class of your choice. Uncraftable.
- $20 Monthly Hearthstone Subscription (All Standard cards): Access to every Standard card including the cards from the current expansion. Uncraftable.
- $10 Monthly Hearthstone Subscription (All Standard cards, excluding current expansion): Access to every Standard card except the cards from the current expansion. Uncraftable.
- $10 Monthly Hearthstone Subscription (Top deck for 3 classes): Access to the top-performing deck for three classes of your choice. Uncraftable.

Would you pay for a Hearthstone subscription?
In the Reddit post, one user was quick to point out that "10$ for only one class is hilariously bad deal." In a reply, another user wrote, "on the other hand, 20 for all classes is actually quite good."
Someone also noted that if you do the math, $20 per month for a Hearthstone subscription means $240 per year to play the game.
The top comment was about wanting an independent app for Hearthstone Battlegrounds.

Another user on the platform made a similar post. The top comment pointed out that one option won't include cards from the current expansion. To get access to all the cards, players would have to pay $20 on a monthly basis.
Some players loathed in-game cosmetics that deviated from the traditional World of Warcraft universe. Meanwhile, a few users said they would be interested in a Hearthstone tournament mode.
Would you subscribe to Hearthstone? Or would you be a fan of new cosmetic items that stray from the World of Warcraft universe? You can check your email to see if you've received the survey or voice your thoughts in the game's subreddit.
