Here’s what to expect in the July 16 update.

The next set of Hearthstone patch notes feature the return of Splish-Splash Whelp and Demolition Renovator, a new Arena season, and a slew of bug fixes.

Hearthstone patch notes July 16

The Splish-Splash Whelp minion will become unbanned in the Standard game mode thanks to the July 16 Hearthstone patch. According to Blizzard, this Dragon will also become a 3-mana 3/2 instead of a 2-mana 1/1.

Hearthstone patch 30.0 notes continued

Next, the Demolition Renovator minion will return to the free Core Set in patch 30.0. This card will likely be available until the regular Core Set rotation. Meanwhile, dual-class Arena will return alongside a new season in patch 30.0.

Hearthstone gets Perils in Paradise event

After patch 30.0 will be the in-game Perils in Paradise event. This will run between July 30 to Aug. 20. The rewards will include six Perils in Paradise card packs and the Icecream Sai Death Knight hero skin.

In terms of other updates, players can look forward to seeing Buddies in Hearthstone Battlegrounds until patch 30.2. Before that patch, the Buddy Up spell will make a return. Finally, the full list of bug fixes can be found on Blizzard's official website.
