Blizzard is celebrating Lunar New Year 2024 with some in-game freebies! These include signature cards plus hero skins for regular Hearthstone and Hearthstone Battlegrounds. Read on for all of the Hearthstone Lunar New Year event details!
Hearthstone Lunar New Year event 2024
Hearthstone's Lunar New Year event for 2024 features the returning Lunar Blessings Tavern Brawl, emotes with fireworks, and a bunch of Event XP that you can earn. When you have enough Event XP, you can unlock in-game cosmetics such as hero skins for the regular version of the game plus Hearthstone Battlegrounds. There are also some signature cards up for grabs.
Hearthstone Lunar New Year quests
- Play 3 games of traditional Hearthstone — 150 Event XP
- Destroy 40 minions — 300 Event XP
- Deal 200 damage — 450 Event XP
- Draw 50 cards — 600 Event XP
- Play 20 minions — 750 Event XP
- Play 50 cards — 900 Event XP
- Win 3 games of Hearthstone's ranked mode — 1,000 Event XP
- Play 2 games of Battlegrounds — 150 Event XP
- Win 30 combats in Battlegrounds — 255 Event XP
- Play 12 golden minions in Battlegrounds — 300 Event XP
- Upgrade your Tavern 10 times in Battlegrounds — 375 Event XP
- Finish Top 4 in 2 games of Battlegrounds — 450 Event XP
The Hearthstone Celebrations quests encourage you to play the traditional version of the game. Meanwhile, the Battlegrounds Festivities quests require playing Hearthstone Battlegrounds. For both game modes, you must complete the current Lunar New Year quest in order to progress to the next one.
