Hearthstone progression update makes changes to Weekly Quests
Hearthstone released a statement on its website talking about the new update and how the team got here.
"Earlier this year, we made some adjustments to our Weekly Quests," Hearthstone game director Tyler Bielman stated. "Our initial changes in Patch 29.2 were aimed at rewarding our most committed players while encouraging others to play more. But after the changes went live, they didn’t reward players for their time in-game quite like we had hoped."
So now, the game is making changes to its progression system, looking to give players more accessible goals and more.
