OpTic Gaming will host a LAN after all with HCS major

OpTic Gaming fans can rejoice, they will be seeing the Greenwall host an HCS event in year 2. The 2022 HCS World champs originally had a LAN event in Texas lined up to kick off the HCS season. Unfortunately, OpTic postponed the event after "struggling to get HCS teams to commit".

On December 1st, OpTic Gaming founder and CEO Hector 'H3CZ' Rodriguez announced during a podcast that the Halo LAN would not be going forward as planned.

Fortunately for the fans of the Greenwall, OpTic Gaming will be hosting an event after all after it was announced the second HCS major of the year will be hosted by the world champions. With OpTic heavily linked to Texas, this year should be a great one for them with three HCS events taking place in the state.
